The Teton High School Cheer squad placed second in the all-girl Five-Man Stunt category at the 2019 State Cheer Competition last week.

While Weiser took home the overall championship, Head Coach Teresa Schwarzwalter is proud of her team’s performance, though sad to be losing 12 seniors, who choreographed their own routine for the Pom. Overall, the team gelled together nicely throughout the season despite a few injuries. They’re proud of their performance against a handful of the top competitors in the state.

“We strive to do our best and the team pushed really hard,” said Schwarzwalter. “They’re a fun team to work with.”

Teton’s next endeavor will be their annual camp with the Idaho State Bengals cheer squad. Tryouts for next season will be held April 16-19, 2019.
