I first came to know Bob Heneage’s work ethic and his ability to communicate with others and listen to their ideas and concerns when I was a County Commissioner and he was the head architect designing the new county courthouse. He is definitely a team player and knows how to get the job done. Look at the wonderful courthouse we now have!

Bob Heneage was the Board of County Commissioners (BoCC) representative on the steering committee that wrote the first draft of the Land Development Code. After that, the Planning and Zoning Commission (PZC) wrote two more drafts and the BoCC developed the final draft. Many changes were made from the first draft to the last, a number of which made the code LESS restrictive, contrary to Pete Moyer’s recent comments in the Teton Valley News. The BoCC incorporated many of the changes that the PZC and the public recommended. It was a sincere effort to compromise while ensuring that the final LDC fit with the comprehensive plan, as required.
