The City of Victor has released an urgent public message asking citizens in southwest Victor, including the areas of Brookside Subdivision, Settlement Subdivision, Teton Valley Resort, Willow Creek Subdivision, and Crystal Run Road, to use as little water as possible until approximately 9:00 p.m. on June 6 because a sewer line has cracked and is causing Lift Station #2 to overflow.

Please avoid flushing toilets, taking showers, running dishwashers and washing machines, and the like.

A sewer line leading to Lift Station #2 has cracked and is causing the lift station to quickly approach capacity. If Lift Station #2 reaches capacity it could cause the sewer system in southwest Victor to back-fill.

City crews are on-site and are working quickly to address the situation. Additional contractors will be onsite within hours to bi-pass the cracked pipe. Once the bi-pass is complete water use may continue as normal. The City of Victor appreciates the community’s help in avoiding water use until 9 p.m. on June 6, 2019. The City will also provide situational updates on the City’s website, https://www.victorcityidaho.com/, and Facebook Page.
