Backers fund effort with 90-hole golf game

Skijoring, the uniquely western winter event that combines horseback riding and skiing into a wildly crowd-friendly spectacle, is coming back to Teton Valley after a seven-year hiatus.

Once a staple of the Great Snowfest, there hasn’t been a skijoring in Teton Valley since 2016. That’s about to change, thanks to some new faces leading the charge.

On top of being a board member and a 90-hole participant, Jason Borbet (aka Borbay) also painted the bright neon image that will grace Teton Valley Skijor posters across the region.

Berndt Fetzer, Neal Stobaugh, and Ken Lederer pause in the middle of 90 holes of golf for a photo. On June 21, 13 golfers attempted to play every hole in the valley to raise money for Teton Valley Skijor.
