Randy’L Teton, public affairs manager for the Shoshone-Bannock Tribe, shakes hands with members of the Teton Valley community Wednesday evening after a panel event hosted at Teton High School in Driggs. Members of the panel also included Teton’s uncle Larry Teton, Amanda Blackhorse, an activist and member of the Navajo Nation, Michelle Beitinger, who lives locally and is a descendant of Washington state’s Colville Confederated Tribes and Northern Arapaho member Sergio Maldonado who traveled from the Wind River Reservation in Wyoming for the evening’s event.
