Spring is in the air and it’s time for Spring Concerts at the local public schools. The music programs at Teton Middle School and Teton High School have grown over the past several years so that just one specialty of music is featured in a series of concerts. The band and strings concerts have already taken place.

Next up: the final combined-school Spring Jazz and Choral Concert, on Monday, May 20 at 7 p.m. in the THS Auditorium.

The district’s music program starts with the littlest kids though, and the elementary schools have their concerts scheduled for next week, also.

Complicating the logistics this year is the fact that the gyms are inaccessible at two of the schools (Rendezvous and Tetonia) because of the renovation and construction taking place at them. Their concerts will also be at the Teton High auditorium.

Each of the concerts is free and everyone is welcome.

The Elementary School programs are, in chronological order:

· May 21 at 1:30 p.m: 4th graders from Rendezvous Upper Elementary School, at the THS Auditorium

· May 22 at 1:30 p.m: 5th graders from Rendezvous Upper Elementary School, at the THS Auditorium

· May 22 at 1:30 p.m: Victor Elementary School, VES Gym; the school will also be decorated with student art

· May 23 at 1 p.m: Driggs Elementary School, DES Gym

· May 24 at 1 p.m: Tetonia Elementary School, at the THS Auditorium
