Press release

Teton Arts and Valley of the Tetons Library are sponsoring a special joint presentation by Aaron Linsdau on Aug. 9 at 7 p.m. at the Driggs Senior Center. Aaron will speak about how a total solar eclipse happens, viewing locations in Idaho, what to expect from the experience and how to photograph the total solar eclipse. He has written 13 Total Eclipse Guide books for each state under the total eclipse.

Because the total solar eclipse is a "once in a lifetime experience," Teton Arts and Valley of the Tetons Library will also sponsor an exhibit Sept. 22 to Oct. 13 at the Teton Arts Gallery in the Driggs City Center. Our organizations hope that everyone in our valley will want to share their total solar eclipse experience with each other. Plan ahead and create something special for the Total Solar Eclipse exhibit. We will show artwork, the written word, photography or a combination of all.
