Representatives of thirteen local nonprofits accepted grant awards Monday, Dec. 18.

On Dec. 18, Teton Springs Foundation awarded $37,000 in grant funds to 13 local nonprofit organizations bringing the total grants awarded since the Foundation’s inception to over $1,000,000.

This year Teton Springs Foundation received applications from 18 local nonprofit organizations, totaling over $70,000 in funding requests. The awarded grants cover a wide range of community needs that include helping families, providing education and recreation opportunities, improving resources for children, enhancing community health services, supporting conservation and animal welfare.

The mission of Teton Springs Foundation has been to improve the quality of life in Teton Valley through charitable giving since 2001. Teton Spring Foundation President Doug Gemmel said, “The level of care and services from the local nonprofit community is beyond impressive. The Foundation is so proud to partner with these amazing groups.” The next granting cycle will open in Fall 2018.
