The theme of the first “Noche Familiar” on Wednesday, September 12, will be “Sharing Borders,” celebrating all the countries that Mexico has ever been associated with.

The free cross-cultural community gathering takes place at the Teton High School cafeteria at 6:30 pm and this month’s event will include traditional food and dance, games and prizes.

Sponsored by the English Language Learning program of Teton School District #401 and its ELL parent committee, the following community partners also assist: Teton Valley Education Foundation, Community Resource Center, Hispanic Resource Center, Valley of the Tetons Library, Church of the Tetons, Radical Neighboring, Family Safety Network, Teton Valley Health, and Teton Valley News.
