“Fire and Ice” Art Exhibition and Sale

This Teton Arts Member Show celebrates a new winter season in Teton Valley with an exhibit of works by local artists. Seasoned artists, students and new talent will participate.

The exhibition is titled “Fire and Ice”. The Teton Arts Gallery, inside the Driggs City Center at 60 S Main, will showcase our members. Enjoy 2D and 3D art. As a bonus, one gallery wall is dedicated to unique recycling art. Teton Valley Community Recycling presents creative wearable fashion made from recycling and trash. These entries into the annual Trashion show won accolades for their imagination and innovation.

Skate with Santa

At the Kotler Ice Arena from 1 to 3 p.m. Skate with the Big Guy before he takes his big trip on Christmas Eve! Festive holiday music, family fun ice skating and take photos skating with St. Nick. Half off skating admission to skaters dressed as Santa’s Elves! Must be full costume, not just the elf ear hat. Santa needs real helpers to earn half price admission!

Grand Targhee Resort Holiday Celebration Kickoff

Grand Targhee Resort kicks off the holiday season starting at 9 a.m. We’ll be welcoming two festive weeks full of family fun, fireside gatherings, snowshoe tours, movie nights, arcade nights, tubing parties, and more. Come celebrate the season with us! Santa will be visiting the plaza at 11 a.m.

Tube Party, S’mores and Hot Chocolate at Grand Targhee Resort

Tubing, s’mores, hot chocolate and great times are heading your way! Celebrate the holidays with the entire family during an extra-special party at Grand Targhee’s Tubing Park you won’t want to miss. Enjoy the thrillling ride followed by the convenience of the magic carpet that whisks you back up the hill for your next tube run! Top off your tubing extravaganza with s’mores and hot chocolate by the toasty fire from 4pm to 7pm.

Après and Paint in Rendezvous Lodge North

Grand Targhee, 6-8 p.m. Join us for an evening of fun with art and wine! Teri McLaren from Local Galleria of Driggs will be leading a demonstration and instructional acrylic painting course. All the art supplies plus a pre-drawn canvas will be included to create a beautiful scene of the Tetons. The ticket also includes your first two glasses of wine, as well as a charcuterie board. Additional drinks will be available for purchase. Drop the kids at Kids Club, for Kids Night Out, where they’ll enjoy activities and dinner, while you have an evening of Après and Paint.

Annual Torchlight Parade

Annual Torchlight Parade at Grand Targhee Resort, 4-8 p.m. The Kid’s Glowstick Parade is perfect for kids between 5 and 14 who possess basic turning and stopping skills. Participation is limited so register early. Kids meet time is 4 p.m. at Ski & Snowboard School, and their parade is at 4:30 p.m. Registration is throughout the day at Ski School for the Torchlight Parade. Adult’s Torchlight parade is open to skiers and riders 12 and up and space is limited. Roadside flares are used and old clothing is recommended. Meet at 4:45 p.m. at the Ski School. Parade starts about 5:45 p.m. Fireworks show immediately to follow. Shuttle schedule TBA

New Years Eve Karaoke Party

The Tetonia Club. 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. New Years Eve Karaoke on the big screen! Come sing, drink and party in the New Year at the Club!

New Years Eve with Batdorf and Brother Wolf

Join the Knotty Pine and Brother Wolf for a very special New Years Eve. Tickets are only $10. 8 p.m. Happy New Year!!
